During the prayer service, the Shinto priest prays for the safety of your journey and calm weather, and visitors hold a branch called a “tamagushi,” offering their hearts to connect with the gods. At the annual festival, which has continued for over 100 years, local residents gather, and you can feel the vibrant spirit of a town that lives in harmony with the sea.
