Ueda Sake Shop, established over 135 years ago, has been walking hand in hand with the local environment of Iwanai Town. They offer sake brewed with local rice and water, craft beer made with hops cultivated by the owner themself in Iwanai Town (known as the place where wild hops were discovered), and rare wines from the Shiribeshi region – a selection of alcoholic beverages unique to Iwanai. The tasting cups are vintage originals. Enjoying a conversation about sake with the owner is another unique pleasure of this shop.
